We were orignally going to go for our honeymoon but decided to save it until we could afford to actually do stuff once we get there lol. It's going to be our Celebration for Getting my Greencard once i get it! :D

I like that idea! A trip to celebrate the green card. Hmmmm......now I've got something to plan for my beloved..... :)

I used to be a disney-fanatic but to be honest I much prefer Universal Studios lately. Universal is geared a bit more to the older crowd with more intense rides... And my friend and I stayed onsite at one of their hotels so it made it so much easier to get around.. We stayed at the cheaper of the three hotels (The Royal Pacific) which was really nice... if you're interested heres the link.. http://www.universalorlando.com

The one thing I liked better about being a Universal guest as opposed to a Disney guest .. at Disney you can do the fastpass for rides (fyi that means you insert your park ticket and get a time to come back for the ride and skip the long lines) and staying at the Disney hotel doesnt really offer much of a bonus. However at Universal your room key is your fastpass card and you can use it as much as you want... BONUS!!!

I still love Disney and our next trip we plan to go but stay Universal and go over to Disney for about a day.. However, if you've never been to Orlando I suppose Disney is the way to go... Am I helping at all LOL... Just enjoy no matter what you decide..

I will offer this advice.. I've stayed on International Drive which is off the highway (closer to Universal). If you are renting a car then say here... Rates are cheaper and since you will be paying for parking at the lots you can save a lot of money and be close to Universal and Sea World.. And the ride to Disney isn't bad as long as you don't hit traffic...
