RBHIQDAY, my husband's not here for me to ask him for the exact website to go to, but i believe it was the disney website itself..

Oh and my husband also thought that we might even be able to get a better deal if we book without this deal..Here's how he calculated:

200/person plane ticket= $400

40/night for 5 nights in a REAL hotel (thru priceline) $200

15/day for 5-6days if we decide to rent a car cuz we're too far from Disney $ 75

----------------

$675

Now the difference between (435/person for 2 ppl) and $675/2ppl is $195.. You just use that difference to go buy urselves ur meals...

My husband just came back for lunch now, and he said just go to www.disneyworld.com...At the bottom of the screen, go to Magical Vacations, click on "specially priced end of summer deals.." And you should be there... check out the 4 places where u have a choice to stay.. They look like motels! Not something we want to stay in anyway...

Disney world is awesome. I would take every vacation I could there if it were possible. My whole family is going in July but we can't go and I am heartbroken. Javier and I honeymooned there. We had an awesome time. It is definitely worth it to stay in one of their resorts on the property. They provide transportation and everything. I have stayed in several of them. All of them are great but some are nicer than others. If you just want a basic room you should stay in the Pop Century resort. I wasn't around when all that Bholiday stuff came about so I don't know what it's all about. All I know is, Disney World is awesome and everyone should go there at least once.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Hubby had a weeklong seminar in Orlando last September so the boys and I decided to tag along and go to Disney World, Seaworld and NASA. It was great because the lines were not so bad and we were able to repeat the rides we liked without having to stand in the line the whole day. We did not stay in a Disney resort though as we stayed in the hotel where my husband's seminar was held.

Next time we go we'll probably stay at a Disney resort to avoid all the driving around that I had to do.

My husband a couple of days back asked me if i wanted to go to Disney world... I was just wondering if any of you have ever gone and if it can be an enjoyable experience even though we have no children?

We recently found a deal for $435/person, flight included, and 2 meals/day, and disney resort stay (it seemed more like motels to us), oh and it's for 5nights 6days and it's for one theme park a day...

its excellent for adults too. they have Pleasure island there. night clubs.

You will LOVE it!!! Believe me, you dont need to be a kid to enjoy anything Disney has to offer! I went from the UK to florida 8 times and you really cant fault it. If it wasnt for the hurricanes and the humid weather I would want to live there. Have a great time!

if you stay on disney resort (hotel) then they have buses that run all over the property there to all the parks and to downtown disney,

and also you can take bus from the airport to disney world but just make sure you arrange it before cause they are not allowed to take passengers away from the taxi's so all that has to be arranged, but if you are staying at a disney resort that is something easly done.

so a rental car would not be necessary if you are just planing on just going to disney world.

Hurry up and go before summer comes, or you wont be able to enjoy yourself with all of the crowds and rude people. trust me, i was there and at seaworld for spring break, thankfully i live 2 hours away and could escape!

make sure you bring MONEY, and a bit of it, i took my daughter and her friend to a resturant, and for 3 burgers, 3 fries, and 3 drinks, and my mom had a salad, it cost me $50  they know how to make their money

I worked there for two summers and am aiming for it to be our next vacation (well the next one will be to the UK, but that doesn't count IMO, since it will be more seeing family than being touristy--anyway the vacation after next).

There are parts that are kid-y, but not all. Part of it depends on whether you like rides (there are decent thrill rides, but also decent non-thrill rides that aren't aimed at kids). Of course some adults love the kiddie rides as well, which is cool. There are also movies, live performances (definitely see the Lion King show at Animal Kingdom), and fantastic food. DTD (Downtown Disney) consists of three areas: Downtown Disney West Side which has shops, restaurants, a movie theater and DisneyQuest (a VR park); the one I forget that's almost all shops with a couple restaurants; and Pleasure Island which has themed nightclubs (rock, country, comedy and ... those were the three I usually went to). Avoid it on Tuesday night (unless they've changed which night it is, but you should be able to call up and ask) because all the employees get in for like $5 and so it's even more packed than usual. There are also three water parks, an area around the lake by Boardwalk Hotel that's, well, a boardwalk with restaurants and clubs, and mini-golf.

It's worth it to stay at one of the Disney resorts because there's a free shuttle to all the parks and you also can get in earlier to one park a day (like Tuesday and Friday you get into Epcot earlier, Monday-Wednesday-Saturday it's the Magic Kingdom, etc.)

Always get in the left-hand line. It's always shorter.

And if you want something, *anything*, just ask for it. If you (nicely) ask a Cast Member (employee) *anything*, you can usually get it. When the fireworks are? Best place to watch the parade [the least crowded place for the Magic Kingdom parade is in Frontierland by the McDonalds stand, right where the parade starts]? What restaurant is the best? Can we sit up front in the movie? Where are the best seats in the ride? And so on.

Oh, and the cleanup folks (the ones you see in janitor outfits cleaning the bathrooms/sweeping up trash) and the managers (the ones in suits, or at least shirt and tie) always know when a ride is broken and when it's fixed, because they have radios.

I HAVE to tell this disney story again, tho I could prolly search for it cos I'm sure I wrote this out before:

WE were on splash mountain....someone somewhere stood up, so it shut the ride down. We were like right at the edge where one of the little drops is...but it looked like a big one to someone who's never been on it before...anyways, there are three young girls in front of us, and they are REALLY upset. A disney worker appears out of some secret door on the side...and the little kids say 'miss, can we come with you? we're really scared'

Her answer?

LIFE SUCKS GET USED TO IT!!!!

omG, everyone in our 'log' was outraged...we all went up to complain after we got off the ride. Our indignant outrage was quelled, however, when they offered an escort to queue-jump Thunder Mountain, heh.
