My wife and her daughter came on k3/k4 visas 10/20/07.

How come the I-94 have the date of Jan 19, 2008 ??

The k1's are 3 months .. not the k3's , no ?

I thought the k3 was valid for 24 months- ?

Have looked all over for answers about this ...

Anybody knows ?

Happens when the POE officer is unfamiliar with K-3/4 and confuses them for K-1/2.

K-3 is multi entry, so next trip out of country get the I-94 replaced with one with a proper expiration date.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
