Gosh you have to feel sorry for them. This is a very unique case, I mean it is not a real gender change in the way we normally associate it with. He was born like that and it appears that he has grown up as male until 2000 when he had to have other surgery. Poor bloke, but at least if they move to NZ they won't have any problems getting in.

A birth defect like that is very sad. In this day and age of swapping genders and the following legal problems there should be a way to settle the disputes evenly. Maybe the BC should reflect the genetic gender. That is in the end what really makes someone male or female biologically. I know that some would still feel slighted by that but there should be a standard.
