We filed for an AOS in October (acceptance date on letter is Oct 22nd) but have not received a letter for the Biometrics Appointment yet.

We moved shortly after filing and we have filed (and received confirmation of) the change of address with USCIS but we are now afraid the letter got sent in the in between time between when we moved and the change was noted on our account. We've been having a lot of trouble with our mail not getting forwarded properly from the post office and based on the timelines similar to ours, we should have had the appointment already.

The main question is who do we call to ask about this. Do we call our local field office? Is there a national number we can call.

We basically want to know if the letter has been sent and if it has, can we get a new one sent.

Any ideas on where to call to ask about this?

Have you tried calling the USCIS Contact number?

Maybe you should try that first.

In case you do not have the number: 1-800-375-5283

They should be able to let you know if the letter returned as undeliverable or not.

They could give me the information when my GC got sent back due to the missing name on the mail box.

Good luck

Thanks!

Just got off the phone with them. They had not sent the appointment letter after all but put in a request to do so while I was on the phone.
