Reopening of the application after review

Hello Everyone!

I need some insights here.

Here's what I received from DHS. "After review, we have reopened the above application or petition or reconsidered the decision previously issued. You will receive a notice under separate cover once all action has been completed."

What does it means? I filed for AOS and I-130 concurrently and my AOS interview is successful last November. The IO approved my application and he didn't say anything that he will review it more. He even took my I-94.

This Notice of Action arrived at the same time with my Welcome to America notice and Approval Notice. No greencard yet though.

Does anyone has the same experience?

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if anyone have the same situation? I read the posts here and can't find a case just like mine.

I've never heard of anything like that, either. Chances are they effed up.- call them and ask.

There was a similar thread to this one but I can't seem to find it now. It sounds like they are re-evaluating the petition.

Wow, that's a scary thought that they can possibly approve AOS and then take it back.
