Hello everyone,

Im new to this site and obviously need a ton of help. Im in Canada, my fiance is in the States. Basically I understand that he needs to file the I-129, he is a very lazy person and is not getting around to it. Im going to start it out on my own but it seems so overwhelming, could anyone who has compiled a I-129 package please just break it down for me of what it consists of exactly...Any help at this point would be great, Im really stressing out. So basically I just need help with what is in the package, photos, birth cert?, ummm...even proof I think?

Thanks in advance!

Good luck to you ALLLLLLLLL!

Best wishes to you !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thank you...I'll start looking into that. Would you know if the US petitioner needs to send evidence of financial support with the I-129? Or is that just for my interview?

Thanks again.

Hi and welcome!

Just follow the guides as the other very helpful people in this thread pointed out. Read it all, leave it for a bit then come back and re-read it again.

Get everything organized, try and get your man to help out a little bit and enjoy the journey.

Best of luck to you :)
