I just got an email from Senator Clinton asking for more info regarding the letter/email I had sent to them months ago, whenever it was we were all sending letters! Ridiculous! I got my NOA2 at the end of November, and they are just now getting back to me about this?! whatever.

The same thing happened to me. I got an e-mail with the provacy notice for me to fill out so that they could look at my case. I said it was a little too late for that.

Did you actually respond to them with that?

I did

nice!

You could send them back an email letting them know the problem of them NOT doing files in order and the confusion

and hurt is causes those in this process....being lied to that "files are done in the order they are received"....

This is what make people so IRATE!!!!!!!!!! We can take the process if it is FAIR and done as it should be.

If anyone can do something about that one issue it would be well worth it.

May 5-sent I129f to Texas and they forwarded to CSC

May 11-priority date according to NOA1 on Hard Copy

May 14-received by CSC...notice sent (never received)

May 15-money order cashed

July 19-called about Hard copy..said they would resend

July 23-lawyer calls and is told application is lost and to resend application

July 25-sent a duplicate application to Texas and it is forwarded to VSC

July 27-called again...said they would resend from CSC

July 31/aug.3/aug.6 "touches"

Aug. 16 received the NOA1 from VSC for duplicate application

Aug. 16-called about Hard Copy...said that they would resend (3rd time) from CSC

Aug. 17-"touch"

Aug. 19-FINALLY RECEIVED THE NOA1 HARD COPY for original application from CSC

October-19-CRIS sent message that they were moving our application to VSC?!?!?

(seems USCIS sent our first application to the wrong center)

November-16 origianl is at the VSC

Dec. 3-congressmans office calls VSC...will be processed by July application date

Feb. 6-APPROVED!!!!

Feb. 7 sent to NVC

Feb. 13 sent to MONTREAL...WRONG EMBASSY!!!!!!! SUPPOSED TO BE VANCOUVER!!!!!!!

Feb. 14 arrived in MONTREAL

Feb. 20 talked to NVC center....supervisor will try to "catch" the application call back in 10-15 days

Feb. 29...talked to the State Department (Visa)...they had NVC send cable today to Montreal instructing them to send packet to VanCouver

March 4...K visa application received at VanCouver

March 6 packet 3 ARRIVED

March 10 packet 3 checklist and DS230 faxed back

March 12 medical exam

March 20 packet 4 received

April 8....interview date

I asked if they could check the pulse for me.....the guy laughed....I told him I knew CPR if needed...then he said you would get an answer soon

that was a week ago so......soon means???????????????????

any time in the next three months, silly.

Wow .....First time I have smiled today.....thanks... :P

You're very welcome. Anything I can do to spread smiles amongst we downtrodden.

I called and talked to a lady at VSC and she actually put me on hold and (presumably didn't fetch herself a coffee) checked on my case. She actually thought the current processing date was June 1! I had to tell her I wish that it were! But anyway, she said my case was 'where it needed to be to make a decision' (whatever that means) and i should hear in a week to ten days. Of course I don't believe a lick of it, but I was advised to write down the name of any officers or customer service agents I speak to and what they said to me. So, recorded. But anyway. Fun.

I don't mean to start a fight here, I really don't. But this is getting old. You know, when your NOA2 finally arrives there are going to be a lot of VJ'ers congratulating you and expressing genuine happiness. Some of those people are going to be people who waited longer than you did. Those people are going to be feeling bitter and unhappy, but they will still support you and be happy for you.

The process is screwed up, we all know that, and we are all upset about it. Horse. Dead. Beaten to an unrecognizable pulp. Let's at least express some solidarity.

Completely agree, Mox.

Everything happens for a reason and everyone's time will come. Some times things are just faster for people than others.

I was very much like you 4 months ago.....and granted I would love to of been one of the lucky one who filed after me and had my Noa2 in hand and merrily been on my way with my life but the reality is that now after almost 8 months one starts to have issues with the process and bitterness follows.....sorry.......I am sure if people who file in September or October or November are still waiting in June July or God forbid August that charity may not be extented as far out as it is now....so not to say they do not deserve there Noa2's but in order they are recieved is a lie unless the calender has changed to run backwards

I'm sorry :(

I know you must be just dying. So so hard.

I don't get it either. I don't understand why some people are processed sooner.

Perhaps they have a more straight forward case, perhaps someone picked up the wrong box by accident and just started processing them by mistake...I really don't know how they work.

I hope you get your approval very very soon.

Hang in there (F)

Horse? Dead? No. This is still a MAJOR issue for people and this is the forum to vent those feelings.

You are really helpful. Thanks! By any chance, do you have the number to call to make the interview? My fiance's mom is sending him the packet info cause he is away at the moment. I would like for him to not have to wait to receive it and call today.

You don't call London to book your interview, they send you the date in Packet 4.

Gillian

That isn't what our letter says. We bring all of our paperwork to London. We do not mail it in. Once we make a medical appt we call to get a interview date.

I'm not saying that we have to be cheerleaders and all wear happy fake smiles on our faces. I am also unhappy with how things are progressing. CSC should have completed all the July filers and been well through August but they only approved 5 files all of last week and don't seem to be trying any harder this week. I called CSC and got completely blown off. I am angry. I am infuriated. I think the system is broken and I think the people running it should be tarred, feathered, and run out of town. But I also support my fellow VJ'ers, and I'm not about to rain on their parade when they have happy news. Ask me again in 4 months if I'm still waiting and I'll tell you the same thing.

Horse? Dead? No. This is still a MAJOR issue for people and this is the forum to vent those feelings.

When every single post a person puts up is vitriol about yet another person jumping the so-called queue, then yeah, that horse is dead. Venting is only helpful if there's substance behind it. When it's just repeating the same thing over and over it's just tedious.

You're not even a VSC filer, so why are you even in this thread? I don't care what you think and that is the bottom line.

You know what? I can still complain about their f*cked up process!!! When I was almost 3 months this guy told me that I would be hearing something soon and if I hit the 6 months mark, there was no way they could give me a RFE!!!! And more cr@p like that!!! We all know that some employees are not well-informed!

YOU ALL KNOW MY STORY SO THERE YOU GO!!!!!!

They make the waiting very very difficult as the days go by!!!!
