did you see that on another thread...how do you know????

is there a way to check??

May 5-sent I129f to Texas and they forwarded to CSC

May 11-priority date according to NOA1 on Hard Copy

May 14-received by CSC...notice sent (never received)

May 15-money order cashed

July 19-called about Hard copy..said they would resend

July 23-lawyer calls and is told application is lost and to resend application

July 25-sent a duplicate application to Texas and it is forwarded to VSC

July 27-called again...said they would resend from CSC

July 31/aug.3/aug.6 "touches"

Aug. 16 received the NOA1 from VSC for duplicate application

Aug. 16-called about Hard Copy...said that they would resend (3rd time) from CSC

Aug. 17-"touch"

Aug. 19-FINALLY RECEIVED THE NOA1 HARD COPY for original application from CSC

October-19-CRIS sent message that they were moving our application to VSC?!?!?

(seems USCIS sent our first application to the wrong center)

November-16 origianl is at the VSC

Dec. 3-congressmans office calls VSC...will be processed by July application date

Feb. 6-APPROVED!!!!

Feb. 7 sent to NVC

Feb. 13 sent to MONTREAL...WRONG EMBASSY!!!!!!! SUPPOSED TO BE VANCOUVER!!!!!!!

Feb. 14 arrived in MONTREAL

Feb. 20 talked to NVC center....supervisor will try to "catch" the application call back in 10-15 days

Feb. 29...talked to the State Department (Visa)...they had NVC send cable today to Montreal instructing them to send packet to VanCouver

March 4...K visa application received at VanCouver

March 6 packet 3 ARRIVED

March 10 packet 3 checklist and DS230 faxed back

March 12 medical exam

March 20 packet 4 received

April 8....interview date

I sure wanted to see some movement today for those who are still waiting from May, June and July.... :whistle: :whistle:

... is DOS the # that u can call till midnite?

I'm not sure. I never called the DOS number.

DOS takes calls Mon through Fri from 8:30 to 5:00 US east coast time. Wait time normally varies between 3 and 10 minutes. If the wait gets longer they won't let you into the queue.

Hey Lora. Oh man work has been so insane that today I took a mental health day and went out for a while and bought things to spoil my cat with. :P

No touches. No approval. No word back from my senator. I'll probably call tomorrow to make sure they actually recieved the fax that sent last monday/ it went to correct office.

Yay for progress in Camp Mirla, though!! Haven't seen Virgil about though.

Holy smokes!! :thumbs: That was really fast. Moving like lightning now. You found out you were approved and received your interview date in less than a week. And your interview is like less than 3 weeks away!! :blink: That's amazing. Congratulations. You're almost home. Good luck Mirla. And make sure Pat gets all the documents to you quickly. You have very little time to get your medical, documents, etc. But I'm sure you will make it.

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

Good to hear from you......wish you would hear something though.........Mental health days are a necessary fact of life for early June filers at this point....I talked with Virgil and he is waiting for answers from everyone also.....what a nightmare.......Every morning I wake up and hope this is the day for all of us........I just do not get it.........They approve October.....89 days after they file and we are pushing to 230 and nothing........I have just about lost my mind that is why I going to Peru for a chance to reconnect and decompress..........I really hope soon we will move from this hole called VSC.....and then move as fast as Mirla the rest of the way..........

I stay away also.........it is so depressing.....good for them but sucks for us......VSC is hosed :angry:

Its horrible that there are still filers waiting from May, June and July. The good news is that VSC is pumping those approvals out at a good pace. I've noticed in other threads that there are September filers complaining about VSC. It must make the older filers sick to the stomach. Hang in there, guys. Mirla's recent success should give some real hope to you. I hope you all get your approvals very soon.... :yes:
