Just an update...our petition has been forwarded to Cairo finally after a month of AP at NVC....

That's great news! You must feel so relieved. :) One less thing to wait for... and on to the next thing to wait for. ;)

No email, no site update, just a letter in the mail when I got home from work last night!

I just checked the VCS processing times and it says June 18th...!?!?!?!?! :angry: #######!!!!! I want my approval!!!! :angry:

February 20, 2008 - APPROVED!!!

February 21, 2008 - paperwork forwarded to NVC.

February 27, 2008 - paperwork sent to Consulate.

March 6, 2008 - Packet 3 recieved.

So folks, i have all the forms for the pack3 ready but im still confused. I read that some sent back all the forms with the checklist and some sent back only the checklist to the embassy. Whats the best thing to do? If i do have to send back everything, do i need to make a copy of each form and keep it? :wacko:

It depends on the embassy. My fiance did not have to send back anything to get packet 4 because it is given with packet 3. It should be on your instructions what to send back.

Its always a good idea to make copies :thumbs:

It's for Frankfurt, the instruction first says that the forms should be returned and then say "Do not send the documents to this office" :blink:

Call the embassy and ask.

Or maybe someone who went through Frankfurt can shed some light on this.

Maybe you could PM soch? I know she's not around much anymore, but she might be able to clarify this for Syl!
