It seems like VSC has slowed down after a blistering pace to end November. That sucks.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

In a modest town where honest people dwell

Yes.. I am also very fortunate because he came to be with me last week. My father passed away Thanksgiving weekend, and he flew in for the funeral and was able to help my mom and I through this difficult time.

I am SO GLAD they did not give him a hard time about anything on entry.

I don't know. For some unusual reason, I felt I needed to prove that I may be a woman.

If you want to be a woman it is OK with us. We won't judge. But you might not want to mention that during the interview.

I am sorry about your father. Everything happens for a reason and your fiance wasn't given a hard time because somehow, he was supposed to be with you that day.

I like to live by things happening for a reason. On more of a personal side, something that I take is a sign is the day we were approved. I was approved about a week after I conceived (but didn't know it yet) I had suffered a miscarriage alone a few months prior and was alone and pulled through. I feel like my quick progress was our reward. Nothing makes sense as we go along, but one day, it all clicks and you realize just why things are going the way they are. Sorry to get so personal..just an example!

Indeed it does. Indeed it does.

Actually December started very strong but the last few days have been slow. Hopefully it is just a brief lull before the next storm of approvals. Also there are two approvals that were announced but the timelines were never updated. :( Not counting those two, we still have 12 for the month so we still have a decent start on another good month.

For any May filers who have not heard anything yet, I truly recommend calling and complaining that they're past their 6 month deadline posted on the website. There is no excuse for >180 days. (not that there's one for over 90 days even).

Oh I have called and written......congressman Senator's, omsbudsman, congressional liasons, newspapers, called t.v. stations and even went to the Department of homeland security and tried to make an appointment..........what everyone said is the same.....they answer to no one......When I called after I past my 180 days and 6 calender months I was told they are processing May 19......on November 14 was told they were processing May 24th...they went backwards so I am within there processing times.....which is not 6 months it is whatever they feel like......It sucks being in this situation with no recourse........I hope this does not happen to anyone else because this is killing me.........
