Well, this is just a reminder to always call and double check a few days later. One operator told me our case was completed on Nov 30. I was SO excited and naturally called everyone I know. I called NVC again today to see what other updates there were...and they said the case was completed as of DECEMBER 4TH. Now, I'm still hoping we will be in the December-batch for January interviews. But if these dates had been a few days later, they could have made or broke our chances for a January interview. So just a reminder...don't trust every operator! Call again for a second opinion!!

Good luck to everyone...

Hi ssgrip,

Same thing for us. I was told by the supervisor on November 30th that our case was complete and I'm sure it was, however the IVR says it was completed Monday December 3rd. I guess this is the date that someone actually gets around to making that entry in the computer.

It's a good point you make. If someone is told their case is approved say, early next week, it's possible that it won't make it to the interview 'department' before they are finished scheduling for the month.

Anyway, hopefully it won't make any difference in terms of interview date now and congrats on getting out of NVC processing! Onward to the interview
