Transcription of medical information Ds-3025 to I-693A

Hi all,

As ever the process is continuing, I am in the process of trying to meet the medical requirments. I know that as my medical was in the last year I do not have to go through the medical again and as a K1 holder all I have to do is submit the vacination supliment.

However every USCIS doctor I call wants to give me a full medical (as they would as it means major $$$$$$$ for them). Also my 90 days are up on Feb 7th (entered the USA on November 9th) and the earlyest appointment I can get is mid FEB!! my wife and I were married well with in the 90 days required by the visa (Nov 24th). So here are a few questions:

1. Is there any way I can sub mit the medical forms seperate for I485 and the rest of the AOS packet. (To keep within the 90 day rule)

2. (this ccould be a daft question) under the K1 rules does AOS have to be filed within 90 days or is it just that you have to be married within 90 days.

3. MOST IMPORTANT WHAT IS IT THAT YOU NEED TO SAY/SHOW TO THESE DOCTORS TO GET THEM TO GIVE YOU A VACCINATION SUPLIMENTAL FORM AND NOT GIVE YOU A FULL MEDICAL.

1 you need to marry within the 90 days, many file later and have no problem, I have yet to see someone post a problem on VJ for filing outside the 90 days.

You can file without the I-693A in the packet, but you may get an RFE for it, or be requested to bring to interview.

2 Married within 90 days.

3 Show them the I-485 directions.

I brought the I-485 directions with me to the civil surgeon and pointed at the paragraph stateing that K-Visa holders only need supplement done, quickly changed fee to $35 to transfer.
