I got my DS 230 packet yesterday and along with the instructions to download the form and send it , there was an extra page that said

"Supplement to Form of 169" and it has lit of items like Passports , Birth Certificates , Marriage Certificate and some information under all these topics.

Does anyone know if this is for information only and we dont need to send any of this ?

I checked the USCIS site for the document requirements to be sent with DS 230 for indian consulate and it says not to send any of these with DS 230, they are required during interview.

Can someone undergoing this process in New Delhi Consulate confirm pls

TIA

OF-169 is the checklist indicating that you have requested items and are ready for interview.

The items on the list are needed to be brought to interview, most consulates just want DS-230 part 1 and the OF-169 returned to them.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I am still not clear of what we should do with the OF-169 form once we receive our DS-230 packet. Does it mean we should mail it out to your spouse abrode then they use it at the Embassy? :help:

For Indian consulate the OF - 169 is just instructions on what you need to take during interview, i had to send only DS 230 part 1 and passport copy of spouse.

I would suggest go to this link and follow the instructions , it says clearly on what need to be sent to NVC and what you need for your consulate.

Once you select the application document processing link you will have an option to select you consulate.

Not all countries have the same requirements..

This is not listed on the Manila USEM..

I just got my DS230 yesterday also and it doesn't talk about no OF-169.

I don't even know what it is..
