I see some other cases going lightning fast and mine is slower than a snail. My AOS and EAD were last touched on November 25th and my AP has not even been looked at since November 7th. Something seems wrong to me. Or am I just being paranoid?

I HATE miles, gallons, pints, words spelled without u's, and all that other jazz...

Paranoid.

We got our approval in less than 2 months while other people waited forever (and are still possibly waiting). Seems to be luck of the draw.

Our AOS took about 4 months....and I thought that was pretty fast.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Ok, I'm just being paranoid then. I hope they don't LOSE my file like it appears they've done to someone else.

I didn't think it was normal that my AOS and EAD were looked at a week ago while the AP hasn't even been in anyone's hands since Nov.7th.

Oh, I know that is pretty fast. I expect the AOS to take some time (though some cases have proven to be the exception). But I thought I should have my EAD and AP approved by now at the most. At the least I expected them to be looked at.

AOS and AP were probably looked at because they needed to process your biometrics appointment... AP will most likely wait until it is time to be adjudicated

I understand that could have been the case but I had my biometrics on 11/21. I guess it's just the luck of the draw as it's been said.

I filed in mid Sept. and JUST got my EAD and AP approved (quicker than I expected). You have a wait ahead of you unless you are one of the lucky ones. My AP wasnt touched until it was approved.

At least you have your biometrics appointment, I received my NOA 1 on the same day as you and still no Biometrics appointment. I would be delerious to be in your position as it means at least your EAD is on track for typical turn around times.

You never know, you might have reason for concern, if it gets over 3 or 4 months, you might want to inquire about it as to what is happening at USCIS.

My hubby's AP & EAD got approved in about 3 months, however, since we are the ones w/ the "lost file" (I bet if it was up their azz they'd know it!) we've been waiting for AOS 10 months now. Don't even get me started on the all the other ridiculous crud we've dealt w/ on AOS alone! ( Biometrics not transferred, rude Officers- yes, more than 1- at infopass appt. ) I will be so happy to be USCIS-free even if it's only for a couple of years before we start the whole drama again. But then, we had a pretty easy "visa" journey, so I guess this is our crappy part of the journey. I hope this is the worst of it and I really hope your wait is over soon too!
