hi there guyz i open this thread for dcf in the philipines please share your experienced...

im a usc filed my I-130 in US... i would like to go to the philippines and stay there and wait for the approval of i-130 in the philipines please share ty...

Marriage: July 16, 2005

I-130 sent: Oct 27, 2007

California Service Center Recieved Oct. 29, 2007

NOA1: Jan 17, 2008

I-130 Approved: April 22, 2008

Received DS-3032/ I-864 Bill: June 3, 2008

AOS bill paid: June 18th 2008

AOS sent : June 30th 2008 Received July 1

AOS cover sheet print out: June 18, 2008

DS230 generated June 22,2008

DS230 PAID June 24, 2004

DS230 received July 3, 2008

NVC Case Completed July 14, 2008

NVC send the Case Complete to USEM Manila: Aug. 5th 2008

USEM recieved complete case from NVC Aug 8th 2008

paid debros aug 22,2008

Medical Sept 9,10 He passed Thank you God. God is always good.

Interview Date: Sept 29, 2008 at USEM Manila 8:30AM APPROVED!!!

Visa In hand: Oct 2, 2008 yahoo

POE Nov 17, 2008.

You need to review the requirements for Direct Consular Filing in the Philippines, and specially the residency requirements. However, since you already filed within the US, I am not sure you can transfer to a DCF process. I could be wrong though, so double check with your consulate.

hi there yah i filed in the us california service center...i called the officer and ask them about me filling here and waiting for the approval while im in the philippines... they said its fine as long my sister who i live with needs to inform me if they need something...

Isn't DCF something new for Manila?

hi jasman,

yes you can file dcf in manila.... but some other country dont allow it.

i wont consider my self in dcf bec i already file in california service center. im just going to wait for the i-130 approval while im out of the country.

by the way my friend planning to do the dcf in manila thats why i created this thread.

she's planning to file in manila and she is usc as well.

i just filed mine here in csc but thinking about cancelling my check and do it in the philippines please advice ty

That would take longer in the end as you would need six months residency in the Phillipines before being able to file your I-130 there. I would advise continuing the path you've started even if you do move to the Phillipines temporarily. :)

24 Feb 2007 - Sent I-130 to London USCIS office (I'm the petitioner)

25 May 2007 - NOA2

2 June 2007 - Received Packet 3

12 Oct 2007 - Sent Packet 3 back by special delivery

5 Nov 2007 - Interview in London - Approved without any hitches!

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)

30 Jan 2008 - Fly to Michigan!! :)

*Note: Any delays in our case are only due to us taking things slowly

hi there MargotDarko thanks for the advice ...yes thats what im going to do.... i will continue my petition here in california service center while im in the philippines and leave there temporarily... my sister will inform me if they need something from me :luv:

The reason I as is because my friend was going to do DCF about a year ago and Manila didn't do DCFthen, only CR/IR types.

really? in 2006 im about to file in manila dcf... but i changed my mind to to it here in us... but i never tried it... i just got the paper works state there that you can so i dont know maybe its not allowed now...

Hi! So what happened to ur friend who filed DCf here in manila..Does the USE Manila allowed her/him the US citizen to stay here til her/his spouse visa gets approve?

bcoz we will do the same thing..my USC husband has a permanent residency here in the PH and stayed with me for 10 mths and we are 9 mths married. He never come back yet in the US since 10 months and jst wanted to wait till my visa gets approved when we file it by this november 2009. Can i get the email address of ur friend to ask what happned and wat rqmts they asked from them?Thanks!!
