The last update to form I-864P is dated 4/1/07. Since it is updated annually, the next update will come out right around 4/1/08.

Great! Our interview is before then so I guess we are ok. Thanks :) One less thing to worry about tonight.

Efia, you're probably fine anyway, cause the numbers don't change significantly. It's not like a $10,000 difference from year to year. You've probably got it covered.

Are you ready for the interview? I mean do you have paperwork and stuff done on your end? You're coming into the home stretch now.......

Well Zain as I mentioned before this has been the worst year ever in my life and lost a job I had for 6 years. By the grace of God I have been able to hang on and I wouldnt worry about an increase with my old job but this new one..... I cant even afford a 200 dollar increase in the poverty guidelines. But I have been praying all along so I am preparing myself to have to move with my husband there in Ghana if its God's will.

As for the paper work, I am waiting to do the tax stuff when I file my 2007. And all the forms I am filling out this weekend. Thanks for your support. :)

I haven't ever heard of that. You either meet the limit or you don't. If you're concerned, you can always get a co-sponsor. That could help you feel more secure.

I would be embarrased to have to get a co-signer for my car, let alone my husband  But thankfully my sister-in-law offered just in case but Im close to the guildline this year but if they dont raise a fuss about being close then I guess we will be ok. Thanks :)

Chin up! I do not have experience with your embassy. However, I've read of others who were on the fence, and things went through. But as mentioned before, if you want a piece of mind perhaps you should consider a Co-Sponser.

Sending you positive thoughts, and lifting you in prayer.

Thank you for all the encouragement guys. Chispas, my nieces and nephews will sometimes ask where is their uncle Francis (since they have never met him and are still waiiting to do so) I tease them and tell them that I have him on lay-a-way and he will be here as soon as I finish paying for him  Sort of like Jabob in the bible. he worked 7 years for rachel but got leah instead & their father gave Rachel to him a week later but made him work 7 more years for her. So in essense he got leah on lay-a-way and Rachel on credit ;)

 tooo funny. Never thought of it that way. lol!

I would seriously consider taking your family member up on the offer. Better safe than sorry. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. In the end, you will be totally responsible for him anyway.
