Denial before Interview

can they deny you AOS before the interview?

Im just a little worried about my criminal record from 98, I mean I got my k-1 approved but whose to say that the AOS will be.

Not everyone has an interview, but I'd assume if they thought they had a reason to deny you you'd be called for an interview. Usually the reasons for denial are not responding to an RFE, if we are talking about before the interview.

And if they gave you a K-1, I wouldn't worry about it for AOS. If it made you inadmissable, you'd have had to file a waiver at the visa stage...

You could get denied of you received an RFE and didn't respond. You could also most likely be denied of you commited a serious crime but not sure how they would find that out unless it was done before the name clearance.

I have all my court papers to include, but should write a letter for it stating the charges and verdicts or will they be able to figure out the canadian court papers? I had ne of the charges on there dropped and I dont want the to think i was charged with that .. Maybe im just being over worried like I was for the visa.
