What documents will my foreign fiance need when we get married here in the US? She is coming on a K-1 VISA. I know what I need I just want to know what she needs. We will just be getting married at the Justice of the Peace.

It all depends on the state. A google search on "marriage license <your state name>" will probably turn up your state's website with marriage license requirements.

We only needed ID to get the marriage license in FL and then 3 days could get married (without a premarital course you have to wait a few days).

We got married at a friend's house and the notary and two witnesses signed the license.

We just needed ID as well. He used his passport. 3 day wait to pick up our license as well. This is Missouri.

Like others have said - it depends on the state you are getting married in! Check their website.

In some cases the state requires both to have SSN before issuing a marriage license, this is a major reason the K-1 is "Work Authorized" to allow the visa holder to apply for and get a SSN.

Again check with your state, the requirements are the same as if your were marrying another US Citizen.

Depends on what state you plan to marry in - for our courthouse wedding in Pennsylvania, all I needed was my passport, while my husband (USC) brought his driver's license. They didn't even ask to see his SSN even though on the county website it says they needed to see proof of it.
