Sent from NVC to embassy in Zambia

Hey guys! I found out that last Teusday NVC sent our approved petition to embassy in Zambia, YEAH!! Just wondering if any of you know how long it ususally takes to get to the embassy's in Africa? The only Vj'ers that went through Zambia have not been around for a while, at least I think they haven't . Can anyone help? Thanks

Well, in my case (Ukraine) it took 18 days. It is longer than usual, but they finally got there. What I think is that DHL delivers docs pretty fast (3 - 6 days), but in an embassy they take there time to sort delivered mail... So, just wait... (write them an email after one week, see what they'll say)...

. 2007-10-30 : I-130 NOA2 Approval (official letter 11/05)

. 2007-11-14 : NVC has received our documents and assigned a case number

. 2007-11-15 : NVC has sent out our documents to the US Embassy in Ukraine

. 2007-12-03 : The US Embassy in Ukraine has received our document (hard copy)

. 2007-12-13 : Medical Exam in Kiev PASSED

. 2007-12-17 : Interview at the US Embassy in Kiev PASSED

. 2008-01-10 : Entered USA

. AOS and EAD

. 2008-02-20 : Applied for AOS and EAD

. 2008-03-07 : NOA1 for AOS and EAD (and biometrics appointment is scheduled)

. 2008-03-18 : Biometrics are taken
