Question for those who have got I-751 approved at VSC recently,

Did your envelope that contains card had "DO NOT FORWARD" imprinted on outside of the envelope?

I filed I-751 at VSC in early July and would expect to receive GC within upcoming month or two.

However, I got new job offer in California and expected to relocate within same time-frame.

If timing doesn't work out, and I happen to move before it gets approved, should I still update the USCIS of the fact? I'm afraid that my case is just about to get approved and yet may get transferred to and put at the end of queue at another service center.

I was wondering if approval letters have "DO NOT FORWARD" printed on the envelope that would not allow USPS to forward the letter to me upon I submit the address change to USPS only.

Or should I post pond this opportunity? We always talked about moving to CA asap and it's very hard to let this opportunity go.

Thank you for your inputs in advance.

Anyone? :'(

I also heard even if you file AR-11, your I-751 doesn't get transferred to another service center. Is that true?

In that case, upon approval, will it be still sent to original mailing address?

Please, any input would be helpful... thank you in advance!

From what I know, filing an AR-11 has nothing to do with your pending applications. It is just a form that aliens have to fill out when they move.

If you only file an AR-11, it doesn't automatically change the addresses on all your pedning applications. You actually have to call the customer service # and give them the receipt #s of everything you have pending with the USCIS for them to update your address.

As far as forwarding, I think no commucications from the USCIS are supposed to be forwarded. In my experience, I have received only one letter after I moved and forwarded my mail through the post office, although I know for sure they sent me more.

Hope this helps.

Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.
