Does anyone know if there will be anymore K1 interviews scheduled at USEM in January? They came to a sudden halt at January 9th. Maybe they will schedule other types of cases for the rest of the month.

I've only seen one C-IR scheduled so far on Jan. 30. I'm hoping to get a letter early next week since my case was complete 4 days earlier than that case and sent to Manila the same day. I would think there will be other K-1 and K-3 visa interviews if the CR-1 cases weren't sent until Nov. 30

I called the USEM a few minutes ago. A very pleasant Filipina woman answered. I said to her I am inquiring about our interview date. She asked our names The nice woman told me to call back in the middle of the month. She said that is when they are processing K1's sent from NVC on November 19th. :o

So if they are scheduling CR-1 interviews on Jan 30 maybe they are done with K1 and K3 :(

I'm sure that they will return to processing K1's and K3's. Just hoping and praying it is soon!!!!! They still have open interview slots between Jan 9th and Jan 30th. Maybe, those days are reserved for us....

Our CR-1 interview is 1-22-08. I've read in other threads that the embassy will set appointments for more K visas the 2nd week of Dec. for those sent to embassy by 11-19.

Lets hope they start scheduling K visas again next week. The person I spoke with at USEM told me to call back next week.

According to DHL tracking, the package sent from NVC on November 21 to Manila was 72 pounds. The shipment arrived on November 26. I am not sure if 72lbs. is a lot of petitions.

How were you able to track it through DHL? I tried several ways that had been posted on here before, but was never able to get it to work....
