We haven't recieved a single touch on the I-485 since 12-27, not even after biometrics. The EAD and AP were approved back in Feb. We haven't received any letters since the one for biometrics. Is it time for an infopass appointment? Or should we patiently wait longer?

Thanks!

Our AOS interview was scheduled for 8:00 AM today in Atlanta. We arrived early with a huge stack of evidence about our relationship (3 photo albums and a stack of emails and skype logs about 2 feet tall just in case...no joke! lol) It wasn't until about 8:30 AM that they finally called our name for the interview. The interview was just in what looked like a normal office for any business and the interviewer was a very friendly woman. She already had our case file open on her desk and flipped through it making check marks while asking us a few questions to clarify what she was looking at in our file. For example, she confirmed that neither of us had been previously married nor had any children, confirmed that our marriage had taken place in Ukraine instead of the USA, etc. The only other real question I can remember her asking was how we met. It was even easier than I thought it would be.

The only scary moment for us was when she looked up and said you know you must have a medical examination again here in the USA? I told her that we had already had this done as part of our K3 visa less than a year ago so I didn't believe we needed it. She said, no you still have to have this from a Civil Surgeon in the USA. I told her that we had her vaccinations updated and copied to a 693a by a civil surgeon and that we had submitted this with our original application. She flipped through her packet some more and said ok...she saw it there and then continued on. Whew!

She looked over the I-864 I had submitted with our original application and asked if I had a copy of my 2007 tax return with me along with W2s. Luckily I had brought a copy of this also. (I'm self-employed so I gave her a copy of my 1099 instead of W2...this was fine). She asked if it was ok to keep them and I agreed. She asked for other evidence such as joint accounts, insurance, mortgage, lease agreements, etc. We provided all these.

Lastly, she examined some of the photos we brought from our wedding and other vacations we have taken. In particular she seemed interested by photos that had our other family members in them also. She asked to keep a couple of the photos: the first had my wife and I along with my parents and brother from our wedding, the second was a photo of my wife and I with her mother.

Overall, she didn't ask to see any more of our documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc. that I had brought just in case. Also, she didn't ask to see any of the emails or phone logs, affidavits from family members, or anything else evidence-wise.

After about 25 minutes from the start of the interview, she informed us that everything appeared in order and that our adjustment of status was APPROVED (woohoo!!!). She made sure we understood about removing conditions and told us we could expect the green card to arrive in the mail in approximately 30-90 days.

I just want to give a huge thanks to the VisaJourney community for helping us figure out all the steps we needed to take and providing such good support for us on this long journey! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I wish you all the best of luck on getting your approvals very soon.
