December AOS filers

The same thing happened to me that happened to EARMUFFS.

I got an email from CRIS that an approval notice had been sent out on the 26th.

Well yesterday we got the EAD CARD in the mail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YIIIIIIPEEEEEEE We are so excited! He has been here since Nov. and has not been able to work.

We went to SS office today she said we could expect the SS card in the mail in about two weeks. My husband asked the lady if she knew the SS# and if he could get it on a piece of paper. She said she would know the number tomorrow and we could come back tomorrow and get it. She was so nice and helpful!!! Glory Be to God!!!!

We got our AOS Interview appointment letter today! April 22 is the big day for us!

No CRIS notification or online updates yet.

still nothing on my case...

pretty sure my medical is now expired..

Earmuffs.....I think it matters when you applied for AOS, not the current date, I could be wrong but I can't recall seeing anyone on here who had to go for another medical because the AOS took a while. you applied well within the time, right?

Again of course this is just what I can recall..........we were just approved and I know that my medical would have been 1 year in very early April

I hear you earmuffs, transferred on 1/9 to CSC, no touches since 1/24, getting anxious since a few people who were transferred after me have already been approved.

I never even got a transfer notice, so I envy you guys. I got a touch after biometrics in January, and no movement whatsoever on my AOS since then. Seems like we've been swept under a pile somewhere at the MSC

hah yeah they definitely don't follow their "we process applications in the order we receive them"

I received my EAD card in the mail today, last touch was after my Biometrics, no emails updates for the approval. I was so delighted to get it in the mail, t'was a nice surprise. i got my AP on the 29th of February as well. EAD and AP have the same approval date but they sent it on different dates.

Right now i'm quite nervous about my upcoming interview which is 10 days from now (March 13). I did have gathered all the necessary documents listed on the interview notice, just waiting for the vaccination supplement form from DR. LE ARNOLD. Other than that, i guess i'm quite ready

Need to go job hunting tomorrow, apply for state ID and maybe call SSA to remove the restriction on my SSN.

Hi everyone,

My EAD was approved on Feb 12 and got the e-mail notification of it being sent in the mail on Feb 15th... It hasn´t arrived as of today Mar 05 =(... I booked an Infopass for Mar 10th to find out where it could be... I´ve been applying at jobs either way and going to interviews. I printed out the notification that says that it was sent in the mail and of course employers are ok with it but I need a SSN to be able to actually start working.

I am shocked everything happened so fast! We just filed the end of Dec.!

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On March 5, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. ........ blah blah blah ...

All thats left to get now is the State driving licence ..... fecking taking their time cashing the check (cheque <<< correct way to spell it btw)

USCIS is not that consistent in updating cases online, just checked my status and i got this.

Receipt Number: MSCxxxxxxxx

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On March 3, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I already received my EAD card in the mail on March 03, i guess their computer is having OLDTIMER'S DISEASE.. Anyway, i'm glad that i already have my work permit, i started applying for job today and got myself a state ID as well.
