HOW AND WHERE CAN YOU SEE THAT YOUR CASE HAS BEEN "TOUCHED"????

And also, I need to get one thing straight; An Advance Parole is only obtainable for emergency travels, right?!?!? I didn't file the Travel Permit with the I-485 package, since I thought it was only in certain cases you could travel while your case is pending. I really want to go home and see my family, but that wouldn't be an emergency........

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR

December 2005 - Met for the first time at a christmas party

Year of 2006 - I'm traveling back and forth several times to visit

October-December 2006 - I stay in New York for 3 months on tourist visa

February 2007 - Brandon flies out to Denmark to visit and meet my family

March-June 2007 - I stay in New York for 3 months on tourist visa

October 2007 - I go to New York to stay for another 3 months.......but on

November 10th 2007 - Brandon asks me to marry him!!! ENGAGED!!!!

November 21st 2007 - MARRIED!!!!!!

December 26th 2007 - Sent off I-130 and AOS package

January 7th 2008 - NOA's received

January 14th 2008 - Biometrics letter received

January 19th 2008 - RFE received, on form I-864

January 25th 2008 - Biometrics appointment

February 13th 2008 - RFE sent back

March 14th 2008 - EAD Card production ordered

March 15th 2008 - EAD card received

March 17th 2008 - SSN ordered

March 26th 2008 - SSN received

March 29th 2008 - INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED

May 6th 2008 - INTERVIEW - APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ap can be used anytime until you get the green card.

Like Earmuffs said the AP is for traveling at any time, you should have filed it with the I-485, you can file it now though making reference to the other application.

A little advice, since you came on a tourist visa I understand in October and got married in November be very careful not to leave the country though, it could be considered visa fraud and you could be banned for 10 years from the States and that would be terrible for you guys, rather stay and wait for your AOS process to go through.

:angry: got AP card in the mail too BUT they made a mistake with my birthdate so ...I need your advice ...

I call USCIS and they told me I need to aply again for AP they won't fix their mistake ... :angry::angry: so I need to apply again but I have my interview for AOS the 27th of MArch so is better just wait for the green card or I should apply again for AP??? or what else I can do??

Can you call again and ask for a supervisor? I find it outrageous that they refused to fix THEIR mistake.

Is there anyone else with no touches on their AOS? We've gotten EAD and AP, but not even a date change on our AOS since biometrics last month.

Are all cases transferred to CSC? I haven't even gotten notice of that!

look at our timeline...we went without anytouches on the AOS since well before biometrics in January until just the last couple weeks, but sounds like your's has been even longer. The Touches started once we got a letter about being transfered to CSC. Even the status thatw e were being transferred wasn't updated till after we got the hardcopy letter!

Not all cases are transferred I do not believe.

They're not particularly great at updating the online status, some folks here have gotten all the way to the interview without any online updates, just hardcopy letters. Drives ya crazy, doesn't it?

mine was transfered to CSC and last touched on the 7th...

lets see if they "we process cases in the order we receive them" is true.
