got another update on my EAD saying they sent me an approval notice..

Right - once you have the GC, you no longer need an additional EAD

Well, we got notices for an interview on May 1st, for both my wife and step-daughter. Our due date is May 17th, though, so I hope we don't have to reschedule.

Will it still be possible to get the AP and EAD before the interview, or because we have a pending interview, does that hold off the rest of the processing?

Hey Jeremy! Doug & I are going in for his AOS Interview May 1st as well....I'll look for a pretty pregnant lady then

I don't think the interview has anything to do with the AP/EAD processing though....Doug hasn't received them either, but at least we didn't get RFE's!

That's kind of cool. Missed out by a day in Montreal, but we'll be at the Detroit interview on the same day. I think one of the appointments is at 1:00, and the other at 3:00. What time is Doug's scheduled?

I got my EAD card in the mail today and I must say it is a lot more high tech than my texas drivers license.

I'm also a Dec 07 filer, I received mails stating on Feb 5, my AP is approved and my EAD card production is ordered, but it was changed to Feb 8 for my EAD, and just today I received another mail stating the my interview was cancelled which was supposedly on March 24. I hope I will be just like most of the Dec 07 filers that are so lucky that they even received their EAD cards and AP but guess I'm not.

I got my card today and an email stating they send me an approval notice...

Check the mail it may just show up.

I have seen that before of people getting the interview canceled from what I seen the advice was to disreguard the e mail and still go to the interview , ( thats what I would do too if I was in your shoes ,better save then sorry )

you could also try to call them see what they say , good luck
