We received the AP in the mail today. :dance: No status update online, or e-mail....it still says "Case received and pending" yet we have the AP in hand. :huh:

Hi there, it's been a while since I've been on this site and I need to update my timeline. We have a receipt date for AOS and EAD on December 14. Today we got a Welcome notice in the mail notifying us that my husband's application for permanent residence status has been approved. I'm sort of confused since I thought we'd be waiting another bunch of months and that we'd have to go thru an interview first. Also....no word at all of his EAD. is this normal? Should we make an infopass appointment about the EAD?

My K-1 Timeline:

02/08/2007: Engaged on top of Table Mountain!

03/27/2007: Sent I129f to NSC

04/04/2007: NOA1 (from CSC)

06/27/2007: NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!

07/09/2007: Paper NOA2 in the mail

07/13/2007: NVC sent our petition to Jo'burg!!

07/27/2007: Packet 3

09/20/2007: Successful Interview!!!

09/27/2007: Visa in hand

10/02/2007: E's flight lands at 2:10 in Chicago!!!!!!

Hi there, it's been a while since I've been on this site and I need to update my timeline. We have a receipt date for AOS and EAD on December 14. Today we got a Welcome notice in the mail notifying us that my husband's application for permanent residence status has been approved. I'm sort of confused since I thought we'd be waiting another bunch of months and that we'd have to go thru an interview first. Also....no word at all of his EAD. is this normal? Should we make an infopass appointment about the EAD?

A Greencard by-passes the EAD he is currently a LPR which is far better than just an EAD & Parole. I would want it because I paid for it, but not to worry you are good for the next 2 years.

DAMN IT...

I opened the mail box and saw a envelope from USCIS and thought it was my EAD.....

nope just a NOA for my wifes change of address....

On February 4, 2008, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

I-751 timeline

3/05/10 - mailed I-751 packet

3/12/10 - arrived at CSC

3/16/10 - online status, NOA mailed but no mail received

3/18/10 - Check cashed

4/15/10 - biometric appointment (notice recv'd in mail - 4/01/10)

4/16/10 - touched

4/18/10 - I-485 & EAD touched????

5/03/10 - Card production ordered

5/11/10 - letter of Approval received in the mail

5/26/10 - email received "letter of Approval" sent in the mail... not yet received till now 6/8/10

7/07/10 - called USCIS why green card has not received yet

7/09/10 - email from USCIS stating that they already sent the GC on May 25th and undeliverable,

adviced to apply for I-90 as it might have been lost in mail

7/25/10 - mailed application for I-90 (replacement of lost or stolen card)

9/16/10 - biometric appointment

9/20/10 - touched

9/21/10 - touched

Nov. 22/07 POE Blaine, WA

Dec. 7/07 Wedding

Dec. 14/07 AOS, AP, EAD received in Chicago, IL

Dec. 26/07 Received NOA in mail

Jan. 31/08 Biometrics appointment San Antonio done

Feb. 7 EAD and AP card production ordered.

Feb. 15 EAD card received

Feb. 15 AP approved documents received, they spelt my middle name incorrect. :(
