Better yet put in the first 9 digits of your EAD and then add up 1 number

i did not say the a #, I was talking about the receipt numbers. the poster knows the receipt number for

AOS & EAD. in some cases the numbers are consecutive, if that is the case it might be possible for her to view it.

My EAD/AP #'s had consecutive receipt numbers, as you say, but I was not able to view it until yesterday. This is probably the date they were added "online" even though I have NOA1's for both from Dec. 5th. So I think that, while for some of us receipting (NOA's) came fairly quickly....there were some cases that were just not added "online" so we could not view them. USCIS and their weirdness....no need to say anything more.

For those of you that are worrying about not being able to access your cases online, after biometrics my EAP and AOS appeared but the AP still isn't there. I called and apparently it's no big deal. I've also seen lots of people on this site post and say that they were never able to access online, or only very late in the problem.

I think it's kind of good in that it keeps us from obsessively checking 10 times a day.

11/29/07 - Fedex'd to Lockbox (Chicago)

12/3/07 - Delivery confirmation..........

12/21/07 - Checks cashed!!!

01/10/08 Paper NOA1 for daughter received - Postmarked 12/20/07

The number on the back of our check didn't work with their online system. But if my memory is correct, one of our NOA1s was offset 1 from this number, and the 2nd NOA1 was offset 2 from this number. My guess is that people with more complex cases (kids, etc.) take a little bit longer. Of course there's no true predictability on any of this process. They often seem to process similar cases with completely different timelines. Best you can do is just hang in there, make sure you do everything you are supposed to, then just wait.

FINALLY --- I woke up to a CRIS email in my inbox regarding my hubby...

It seems as if we are on track with others that filed around the time we did. I was a little worried as we received our interview date a couple weeks ago without receiving the EAD -- but it's all good now!!

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On February 4, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this

I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT.

Now we wait for the interview .... ahhhh could this be finally wrapping up????

We received the EAD card today in the mail. It is just 11 days from when they ordered it. Wa-hoo! now for the SSN. I'm glad to see others are recieving their notices also. Good luck to the rest!
