My bio appointment letter says Code 3...wonder what that means.

I think ours says code 3 too, I'm not sure. I'll have to see when I get home....I'll update. I wish we knew what the codes stood for.

i think he said prints and photo for code3

Code 1: 8 Finger Prints

Code 2: Thumb Print, Photo, Signature

Code 3: Code 1 + Code 2

well.....

went to the ASC office and they guy told me that i didnt not require fingerprints for the AOS and should me the code on my letter.. He then gave it to his manager and he came and told me that I have already had them done. Im guessing it was at the consulate.

come on transfer!

Wow that is so odd! I had mine done at the Consulate too (who hasn't? hehe) but I still had to get all 10 prints... oh well!

yeah he told me in april of last year I had them done, but I cant remember where I would've my interview was august.. maybe thats what he meant.

I also had tem done a few years ago at the border.. who knows..

Thanks for the heads up on code 3....i'll find out for sure tomorrow anyway. I've got a nice early morning start tomorrow to travel 2 hours to Jackson, Mississippi....i'm not complaining though.....there was a chance i'd of had to go alllll the way to New Orleans...and thats about a 6 hour journey.

At this point...I still am pretty sure that none of the USCIS people knows their head from their......well, you know.

It's like they make up the rules or perhaps interpret as they go? Through out this whole process I've expected the worst (or the most complicated) and when it's not, it's a bonus.

We're still waiting here. Husband had the bio appt right away, but since then, nothing. No touches since Dec 21. He must have been code 3 since he had, fingerprints, photo and signature. We did a K3. He had one finger done (each hand) at the consulate and then at the POE. Interesting... very interesting. i have a faint hope for no interview since we've been married for 12.5 years with no previous marriages. I guess we just have to wait and see. sigh...

I have a question. My wife and I are preparing to send in our request for change of status but we can't remember what the NOA2 looks like that we were to have received when her 129F was approved. What does the NOA2 look like? Can somone help us?

code 2 for EAD

code 3 for AOS + EAD

wich meens full set of prints and signature photo the whole 9 yards

( could be i got 1 and 2 backwards , but I know 3 is the 9 yard deal )
