Hi -

My husbands Biometric was the 29th and both the 485 and the 765 were touched on the 31st (I am sure it is because INS now has the necessary fingerprints and photos that were taken at the biometrics)

So.... now how long until we see something such as oh ummmmmm the work auth?????

Malarie

Well both were touched again today ..... hmmmm

We just received a Transfer Notice, stating that our case has been transferred to California. We filed AOS/EAD/AP together, but received nothing until now. No biometrics for anything, and now the transfer notice on the I485(AOS). What does this mean?

Since I couldn't find a A-number in any of my papers, that leaves my whole package without both a Social Security Number and a A-number.... is that okay? Any of you know in the same situation???

I didn't have an A-number of SSN for my package either. Now that I've received the NOA2s I see that they've assigned one, but prior to this I wasn't aware of any. Everything appears to be proceeding just fine even though I didn't list either of these on our package.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

Just mailed our AOS application on the 28th so I just slid into the December group I guess. So the waiting game begins again. I know this is a stupid question but has anyone who filed in the beggining of the month got anything relating to there Advanced Parole? Thanks and I hope everyone's wait is VERY SHORT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great - thanks for the answers. As luck would have it, hours after posting I received my biometrics appointment letter for an appointment 10 days away. Wondering if it helps/hurts the process if I turn up early (within the next couple of days) for biometrics? I don't want to upset the applecart so to speak. Does anybody have any feedback?

Also, here is a silly question: What is the order & location of processing? I shipped my docs to Chicago lockbox but got receipts from MSC, MO. I live in NY, is my case now going to be forwarded to the NY office - to the ASC or the Field Office. Hoping some of the veterans on this helpful forum can help understand the mechanics of the process. Many thanks!
