K1 - December Filing

OMG We all made it past 50 days after today. (If you received NOA1 and/or they cash your check on/before december 18.)

Man I need to keep more busy as if going full-time and buying a house isn't enough, therefore I'm hoping to get another part-time evening to kill more time. Or work-out to get in better shape.

Has any December 2007 filer received/been touched or anything from VSC??? I hope we will get ours NOA2 mid-late February.

Well, Good luck to everyone.

TC

Hey sweetie!

Yep, we are passed the 50 day stage.

I try to keep busy too, work a lot, save money and spend time with Nick online.

I'm so glad to have VJ.

Nothing from VSC, haven't been touched since December 17th. I'm thinking we may not see anything until late March early April...but I like your guess better!!! ;)

Hugs

:)

No touches here either so far since December 17.

After a not-so-great week (sometimes telling yourself to be patient and that it's all out of your hands just doesn't do the trick anymore no matter how far you are into the process, right?) I am now a bit more optimistic after seeing the first VSC November filer approved today.

Let's hope VSC keeps up the good work. Everybody, keep your fingers (and toes ;) ) crossed!!!

I know. Had to read the post twice and checked the timeline to make sure I had read correctly. I don't want to jinx anything, but we can still hope and dream that things will be keep going that way. (Wish there was a Prayer Icon.)

Going through CSC means I know I'm in for a longish wait, which in some ways seems better than the random approvals through VSC since I can't expect anything to happen before April at the very earliest. I can't move before the summer anyway, so I'd be delighted if I could get NOA2 by the end of May because it means I could definitely plan a September wedding!

Mark's going to be here this time next week - haven't been together since last summer, so I'm very excited!!!

I envy you all VSC filers. <_<

I saw one CSC filer with November NOA1 date got approved. But he/she submitted on September.

Which one is more important, NOA1 date or submitted/received date?

I'm looking for a new job but I think the K1 process is more stressful.

I guess I have to make myself more busy.

:help:

11/04/10 I-751 submitted to VSC by express mail.

11/05/10 VSC received the package.

11/08/10 NOA1 date

11/12/10 Check cashed, NOA1 hardcopy received.

12/31/10 Bio letter received. Finally!! Sechduled for 1/25/11.

01/12/11 Early Bio

03/29/11 ROC approved.

You shouldn't. CSC have had 16 approvals this week. VSC have had 7.

Both service centers have their ebbs and flows, and it wouldn't surprise me if they average out very closely over a longer period of time. In fact, you would have downright hated VSC just a couple months ago. I think there was an entire month go by (October maybe?) where there was something like 2 VSC approvals.

USCIS go by the recieved date.

YEP, keep up your head guys. We will have our day. Keep busy, work-out, stay in shape, movie a night, drink, hang out with high school buddies, get another part time job, read books, have hope.

I'm just worry about my fiancee not knowing much about English.

Look at the top of the page and click on the "Immigration Timelines" link. Select "Timeline search." Play around with the links on that page and you'll find all kinds of different ways to get information. The "View K-1 Visas" link is particularly interesting. Have fun!
