Any October Filers for NOA1 ??

have any October filers got NOA1 ?? at all i know some August/September did ... just wondering

I mailed my documents in October..on the 19th..they were received by the 22nd and I received my NOA1 on the 29th with the receipt date of October 22nd.

From what I have read, if you probably should call to see if they have received your package. I sent mine by overnight

mail and requested a signature and it was actual delivered on the 20th and signed for...this was on a Saturday!

So might be good to call and see if they received your package.

The K-1 process is a bit different from the IR-1/CR-1. From what I have seen posted, the most recent CR-1/IR-1 NOA1 received is from an application submitted Sept 3, 2007.

Congrats on receiving your NOA1 so fast. I sent my application in on September 7th and it was received in the mailroom on September 12th and STILL nothing. I guess your service center is working faster them mine ( Vermont ) I called and they told me that because of the overload they are still on July Applications I guess it just a waiting game now

Not even people who filed with VSC in August have their NOA1s yet. So, I would be very surprised if anybody of the September or October filers already got their NOA1s.

I think the people with NOA1s from Oct/Nov are K1 visa applicants. I haven't seen anyone - particularly from Vermont SC - who is applying for CR1 who has their NOA1 from Oct, or even Sept/Aug.

I think the people with NOA1s from Oct/Nov are K1 visa applicants. I haven't seen anyone - particularly from Vermont SC - who is applying for CR1 who has their NOA1 from Oct, or even Sept/Aug.

I only did timeframe around mine and out of the three of us, two did get their NOA1's (for I130) pretty quick from late August filers - just an FYI - as posted in other thread I dont even want to expand the timeframe lol - its Sunday, lol, try to be positive and not send too many letters to politicans.

If you know of someone who filed after July to VERMONT SC and has gotten a NOA please post the link. I think you got this confused with some other petitions which have been worked on. But the I130s are at the end of the line at both service centers. Only CSC is already at the end of August BUT even they haven't managed any progress over the past months. So please, if you have a link proving otherwise please post it. If you don't have one then please don't get people confused or their hopes up. I do not think that they just skipped all the August/September/October filers and will now work on November and then go backwards. I know that for those of you who filed in October/November it would be great. But I don't see that happening!

I have had a look around the timelines and it does seem that for the other service centers (not Vermont) that some lucky people filing both the I-130 and I-129 forms for a K3 application have had NOA1s for both their I-129/I-130s from at least September. However I can't find anyone who is just filing CR1 yet who has got an NOA1 outside of the posted USCIS times. It's a frustrating wait isn't it? Christine - I can't wait to hear that you have your NOA1, then we'll know that Vermont is definitely moving forward.

september filer most of them got NOA 1 ... i did too but thier was an RFE ... I sen the wring amount in ... i have downloaded the application b4 the fee change and used that for the visa ....... NOW i had to resubmit the whole application .. the oiginal application was submitted on the Aug 28th and got NOA 1 on Oct 18th ... and i have resubmitted Oct 11th .. and still No NOA .. the sencon application was mailed straight to CSC ... the first one was to Neberaska
