Hello everyone...chilly morning....me and the boys are headed this morning to the complete the dreaded Walmart trip...hahaha...hope everyone has a great day...JeanneVictoria- plz give a shout out to my SO and Alex....enjoy that day;)

Can't wait to take Wael to Walmart! He's already excited to see all the things they have. Have had him look at the sites for Walmart coz he has heard so much about the store so thought it would be interesting to show him the place.

Oh I cant wait for the Walmart stories!!! I tried to tell Tarek about this store....I am sure he will be amazed also with our Lowes and Home Depot...lol...

I'm very glad to hear you're feeling better, Jackie (F) (F) (F)

Amy -- just sit back and take it easy and enjoy letting him pamper you

Melinda -- 14 degrees ????? :o Yikes. I don't think I would even be able to get out of bed. All y'all up yonder in the frigid northern reaches have my deepest sympathies (F)

Jess -- I forgot where you posted them, but I saw the pics of your little Charlie Brown Christmas tree & stockings -- you did a great job ! Thanks for sharing with us (F)

Hahahha that's what someone else said (forgive me but I forget who it was) It was one of those classic Coming To America stories -- she took him to Wal-Mart when he first got here, all sure he would be wowed by this gargantuan emporium crammed to the ceiling with consumer #######. He was like completely underwhelmed. She said he took one look around and then was like "what's the big deal ? We have all this in Egypt. It's just out in the street." (Now if someone recognizes themselves in this story, please step up and take credit for it, because it has me laughing all over again.)

Jackie, thats what friends are for. I couldn't let you go through that alone. I'm glad you're feeling better.

I remember when hubster got here, he wasn't thrilled with Wal-mart. He did say that America has everything but was not overwhelmed at all. Lowes and Home depot were another story just due to the gigantuan nature of the stuff in the store. That was a hoot to experience with him!

Off today and tomorrow....*sigh of relief* I'm learning to enjoy off time again. It's great!!!

Free nights and weekends on the mobile...... call me

Hi Sandy! How are you?

Hi Melinda! Walmart whoot! It was fun playing whose next with you, nagi, and natty yesterday!

Hi Marueen! I'll whisper to Jack frost he can dump snow here instead of there.

Hi Kinzaz! Good Morning & I do love your wedding pix!

Hi Aymerlu! A day of chocolate, coffee, and heating pads sounds right up my alley!

Hi Charles! We just had your crappy weather. I think many people on this board miss Doodle. Maybe she'll come back this month?

Hi Mona_Jamie! fun story about the tent trailer!

Hi Sarah & Jasman; no tee time this weekend?

Hi Jess! Still loving that Charlie Brown Christmas Tree!

Hi WOM! I don't have a Walmart story yet but I'll let you know when we cross that bridge.

As for me today I shoot a unique film consisting of still shots from the GL2. I shoot it 12pm-5pm. I'm excited to finish it and put it on YouTube soon!

I had a fever last night but I feel better today. Next week is dead week which is the week before finals. So I may be doing that disappearing student act to bury my head in books.

Have a great weekend everyone!

My husband wasn't impressed with Walmart either. Cheapo clothes and housewares, not his thing. Now BestBuy...that's another story. :D He was like a kid in a candy store.

Maggie-The pumpkin mousse recipe is on TV right now! I'm definitely going to be making that soon.

Hmm I'm not so sure about the banana in it though. I'm not a big fan of bananas.
