I have the same problem. I called the general USCIS line using the RFE trick, they transfered me to another department. the guy that took my call sent them an electronic message...but It's still not showing and I'm still waiting

*sigh*

Unfortunately, it is actually completely normal for receipt number(s) not to show up on the online system. I encountered the same situation but the processing has moved along smoothly nonetheless. I never had access to my AP case until the day the AP was actually approved so...

As hard as it is, try not to worry about it...

AOS, EAD, AP sent to Chicago 09/11/07, received 09/13/07

NOA1s for all forms from MSC dated 09/21/07

Biometrics 10/17/07, EAD case status online available

RFE notice letter dated 10/16/07, received 10/20/07

RFE sent out 10/23/07, received by MSC 10/26/07, AOS case status online available

EAD and AP approved!!! 11/20/2007

AOS interview scheduled for 5/9/2008, approved - Green Card production ordered...

Yeap, I agree on that one. My K1 online status still shows as received and pending

I stumbled across something regarding this in the FAQ section of the USCIS website today (I was bored at work and desperately hoping to find some tidbit of info to ease my mind about my husband's still tardy biometric appt letter)...

Anyway, this is what it says:

"Q : I have received my receipt notice, but when I check my case online it does not appear. How do I get my case added to the system, so I can check on the progress of my case? NEW

We have had an unprecedented number of applications filed in the last few months. Our efforts to enter these applications into our systems have caused a delay in the transfer of information from our case control system to the Case Status Online system. We are seeing delays of up to three to four weeks between receipting of your application and its status being available online. We are reviewing solutions to resolve the situation as soon as possible."

So all is probably well...they are just (apparently) having a hard time keeping up with the influx of applications these days. Hope that eases your mind a little...and best wishes for a speedy AOS process!
