AOS approved...travel before getting it?

You should wait until the GC comes. Sometimes in an interview the IO will give a stamp if it is approved, but I'm not sure about getting that stamp at an Infopass appointment. When were you hoping to travel? Can you wait the couple weeks that it may take to get the card in hand?

You have to wait.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

ok we finally got approved....here is my question....anyone know if you can travel outside the country before the green card comes?? or if you can get a stamp in the passport to show it was approved??? just wondering......

You definitely do not want to travel before receiving your Green Card...........we were advised not to do so. We were also told about the stamp..........if they don't give it automatically, you will have to justify why you need it......they told us that it could be obtained in emergencies only (from Atlanta), which would mean returning to that office for that specific purpose.

I feel Good...........like the moon is shining just for me!

that is what i thought....i was just wishing he could get a something so that we could get him a plane ticket awhile instead of waiting for the airfairs go up....but oh well....we will just have to wait i little bit...

Are you shipping him back, Nanny? (Kidding)

You could buy him a plane ticket anytime. He just can't travel till he has that green card in hand. You would risk changing the ticket if you did it that way.
