I brought my first wife over here on a k-1 fiance visa in 1994 and we have reciently got divorced. Im planning to bring another lady over here from the Philippines on what would be my second fiance visa. Is this allowed by USA immigration? Are there any other problems with these circumstances.

I think you're ok, but I'm not a lawyer. From reading the instructions on the K-1 Visa, you only have to have a waiver if you have filed TWO OR MORE petitions for a fiance OR if you had another fiance visa approved within the last two years.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

I don't think that it is forbidden but it may be cause for closer scrutiny. They may suspect you marry people for money in exchange for entry into the US, from what I have seen even petitioning for someone from a country like the Philippines raises red flags on it's own. But personally, I think that so much time has past since then that your visit marriage seems legitimate. Just be sure to have lots of evidence that it's a bonifide relationship.

Good luck.

And the last was 13 years ago..........I think you'll be just fine.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You'll be fine since your last petition was 13 years ago. My husband also brought here his first wife from Thailand through K-1 on 1994. They got married and got divorced after 3 years. When he filed a petition for me last year, we didn't have any problem. I am here now in the USA and already have my Greencard.

Good luck.

Even this shouldn't be a problem though. If you're bringing immigrants over for money once every 13 years then you're either extremely well paid for it, or a poor business person. :) :)

No problem!

Just keep in mind USCISs data base may/will have all the info from your first petition.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I agree, I brought my ex to the US in 2004 and got divorced in Feb 2007 after she started to gamble to much in las vegas. Anyway I met someone else when I was in Makati to purchase a condo this past March and went back to see her in September. Filed a 129F after I go back so hope its ok for both of us. Spidergirl how long did it take your visa to get approved? My fiancee is from the Makati area so hope we have luck like you and your husband.
