Did I miss something? I don't think anyone said one bad thing in this thread or that we were not happy for her. I think we are all happy she finally got an interview date. There is no need to resurface old drama.

I take offense to what you are saying because I for one participated in that thread, I don't think I was being rude, I was just posting my opinion as did she and everyone else. No one asked her to stop posting, on the contrary I think she should. Just becuase I disagreed with her, doesn't mean I'm being mean or rude. (F)

You know, for the most part, we are all a bunch of lonely, frustrated, stressed out gals... no need to take things so personally. (If this statement does not apply to you... toss it out.) Ha ha. This IS kind of an emotionally charged forum. Can't really be anything but.

I just appreciate ALL of you guys. Don't know if I've said that for awhile.

i agree with justwaiting... this is a forum for support... encouragement... friendship... and there will ALWAYS be a difference of opinion... that doesn't mean we are being rude... or not encouraging...

i sincerely want jennieh to know that I wish her and her habibi the best... she has been waiting for a long time... and i wish that she would come back and post...

I second that Jenn!

For someone who hardly ever posts here to come around and attack those that do post lots of good replies (and offer tons of support for the rest of us) is a bit much!

Sorry to say that I've been around several months and I don't remember much about Jennieh, so I have no comment to make on that situation . . . Maybe because I am more concerned with things on the Egyptian front. But everyone has the option of NOT reading posts of ppl that they don't feel are making appropriate remarks regarding their situation. I've done it to at least one person that I won't mention here (but I am sure others have done the same thing).

Good Luck everyone!

Call it being overly sensitive on our parts or insensitive on the parts of the perpetrators, but there definitely are some here that tend to lambast the statements/opinions/feelings of others on a regular basis. It is true that primarily the heated discussions stem from one or more persons interjecting their personal opinions with thinly veiled "advice", but there have also been instances of stark bitterness and spitefulness. I have likened it to the antics of sorority girls cutting the "outsider" girl down to size. There is a definite "in" crowd here and those of us who are not privvy to its inner sanctum sanctorum are relegated to the outskirts.

I have been edified and now know my place, and thus obediently I stay there.

My intention is not to be facetious here, but I really don't understand what you're getting at.

This person, along with the others that came in here bashing for no apparent reason, obviously crave attention.

Let me just ask...what is the purpose of resurfacing this drama now?

I am fairly new to this group and there is no "in" crowd. There is no "outsider" girl. There are people that disagree with me here all the time, that does not make me an outsider.

Joan,

Have you ever stopped to think why it is you feel this way wherever you go? Perhaps it is something from within rather than external. Why do you feel like an outsider? Most people here are in similar, if not the same, situations. Your post itself comes across as bitter.

We should all sugarcoat what we say, think or feel so NO ONE feels like an outsider. How about that?

let me add my .02 cents worth please...

i don't participate a lot on the middle eastern thread... but, i have NEVER had any of these women make me to feel like an outsider... they have been very supportive... and friendly... and knowledgeable when I have had a question...

i'm sorry that kader or jennieh felt that they were outcast from the forum... i don't believe that to be true.

as a k1 visa process holder... i do resent the fact that just because Jamal is NOT my husband yet, that anyone feels that their husband is MORE IMPORTANT than my fiance. That is not true. WE ARE ALL IMPORTANT!!!

after doing extensive research, i chose to do the k1 visa process... and NOT the k3... there are advantages and disadvantages of both... the process fits YOUR CHOICE...

joan... i'm glad to see you posting here... i've missed you... and would love to know how things are with you and your habibi aziz...

jennieh... i may not have agreed with everything you posted... but that has never caused me to NOT wish the best for you... or anyone else...

Best Wishes to all

Lynne
