I was checking around to see if Jennieh's hubby finally got his interview date?

Anyone see her lately? If so, please send her my very best and a hug.

Well.... the last I saw (which was maybe a month back or more) she seemed very upset about some responses to her posts, and said she was leaving VJ vowing never to return.

Yes, she was upset about a debate over whether K3s deserve to be processesed more quickly than K1s.

She claimed that she wasn't coming back anymore. I've said that before, and been back the next day! I guess she really meant it!

I don't think it was that ... yes it was a part of it. But someone told her that all she does is complain and whine and that's what upset her.

Reunited and it feels so good ....

Might I add on a related note and echo Jenn, it's HARD to quit a message board! I posted on Christianforums.com for years and swore up and down at least 5 times that I was leaving, and yet, I always managed to come back. But, I've finally managed to cut the cord for good this time. I changed my password to gobeldeegook and the email address to a nonexistant address, so I can't log in anymore. I've been CF free for 2 months and counting  It's definately reduced my bloodpressure and stress level.

I quit reading our university forum when I started having people come up to me after the first session of a class where the teacher called out our names and tell me they had been wanting to meet me. I guess I was pretty outspoken but the notoriety frightened me. It was ok when it was admiration, but I was worried about how it would be when it was someone that disagreed with me. I never looked back.

I also quit a group of students from the same university because of one girl who was always being offensive. I just got sick of her and left.

To me, groups are for friendship and serious discussion, but when people start slinging arrows and hurting other people they have violated the rules of etiquette. It gets hard for me to stay quiet sometimes at those people.

I tried another visa site before I settled in here. Maybe Jenniah just hadn't found the right one for her. Everybody has different personalities so maybe she will like another group better.

I know where Jennie is. She's doing well, her husband got his interview date in May. Let's be happy for her even if you don't agree with things she has said in the past. Some people are just more outspoken than others is all. It seems like some people on visajourney choose they're favorites and are even mean to other people! I don't like having to try to please everyone, sometimes I say things that no one else agrees with. I'm sure everything can be resolved, let's just try to be nice and help eachother out. I personally use this site to gather information and ask questions and I hope that I am not judged by other users on the site based on things that I have said or asked. Anywho, not to bring everyone down, I just hate to see people get hurt and I hope that everyone can and will congratulate her on their interview and wish them luck!

Take care,

Sarah
