Not being religious at all, I woud personnally have a lot of troubles to move to another country for someone I haven't even held hands with or kissed....I understand that a lot of people save themselves for the marriage, but this is a little too much for me.

That said, I do respect you guys for doing it (my gosh you are brave, to me it would be like marrying a stranger) and I am happy to see that you are both happy with it :)

So I wish you the best together! :luv:

It was nothing like marrying a stranger. Several people have touched and ended up in broken relationships or divorce and end up hating each other. We knew each other way better than most people do and part of the reason for that is our thinking wasn't as clouded since our focus was truly on whether or not we were right for each other, rather than on feelings.

Not that feelings didn't exist - of course they did - but our focus in being together and our attraction to each other was not based on how good we made each other feel but rather because we shared foundational beliefs, goals, and interests and we were better people for having each other in our lives. If God drew us together, as we believe He did, then there was no need to worry that things might be awkward in marriage - because He would bless that. And He clearly has! :)

Yes, I know it is unusual but it is what we believe, and saving everything, including what is seemingly innocent to most people, for marriage, was very special and we wouldn't trade it for anything. We both appreciate that the other was willing to wait even for the seeming smallest thing.
