Now We are trying to gather information for I-129F and another papers now.

We will send the papers until around 12/15. but my boyfriend will move to another place by his work from 1/21, 2008. and he doesnt know a new address.

I have a question, NOA1 and NOA2 are send by letters or E-mails ?? when he know a new address how to tell ??

You say Boyfriend yet you posted in the K-3 forum, which visa are we talking about here? K-1 Fiancee or K-3 Spouse?

Anyway, why not use an address on the petition that wont change like a parent's home? Many times canging a US address while waiting for NOA letters results in the letters being lost.

NOA1 and NOA2 are paper letters mailed out, NOA2 is required later for status adjustment, so do not want to loose it.

You're filing for an I-129F, a fiancee visa so it is your fiancee not boyfriend, who you're referring to. ;)

How you refer to your SO is quite important to your visa eligibility and may trip you up at the interview if you don't use the correct term to describe him/her to the consular official.

Correspondence from USCIS will be forthcoming via paper mail unless you've signed up for an online account to monitor the progress of your case. Then you may get e-mail notifications, but it is the paper copies you're interested in receiving anyways as the NOA2 becomes important futher down the road when you are here, married and will file for AOS (Adjustment of Status).

Is your fiancee the USC (US citizen)? If so, the address change of the USC will have to be reported to USCIS. Call their 1-800 number and there is an option to report a change of address.

Good luck,

-P

Nice. I've never thought about his parents address.

He is living in CA, but his parents is living in FL. so I should send to "Vermont Service Center"?? not california service center??

I was thinking of an address closer to where is living, perhaps a friend or relative.

I'm not trying to sound alarmist here, but you almost broke up last month, yet now you're preparing to file for a visa, which is a very long and stressful wait under the best of circumstances?

Perhaps a little research is needed (the Guides and the FAQ's here are very informative) so you can get a better idea of the effort and commitment required to see this "journey" through. It sounds like you're at the very beginning of your process, and I know that what helped me was doing as much research as I could to inform myself on everything relating to visas and immigration.

Good luck,

-P
