I never had to do that.. I'm an American Citizen..

Well I was naturalized.. I was born in the Philippines..

So my question is.. My daughter was born in the Philppines 2yrs ago.. I got her US passport last year from the USEM.

Does that mean she has to pay Over Staying Fee?

no, if you are a philippine citizen then you dont need a visa. you are a citizen returning home so to speak. there is no time limit on it. If you are born in the philippines you are a philippine citizen. you can have dual citizenship and carry 2 passports. your daughter also. however those born not in the philippines have restrictioins on their visit length.

you just need to go to the local/nearest philippine bureau of immigration office to request for an extension. i believe it's for 59 days but i'm not sure as to how much this costs.

when i was there earlier this year it was around 2000 pesos
