Hi everyone,

I have a few questions. I remember I have read somewhere about the consulars do not want the benificary to bring photo albums to the interview. I'm wondering

1. How did you bring the pictures to the interview? Did you put all in the bag or did you glue two on to an 8.5x11 paper with the decription on the bottom of each picture?

2. How many pictures did you bring? Did you bring everything you have or just the selected ones? because I have more than 400 of them from the two trips and planning to go back before her interview.

also .....

3. For other evidences like phone bills, emails, chat logs, snail mails etc......Did you put in the binder or how did you do it?

4. For those who has used yahoo chat as evidence...How did you print it out?

I have read serveral topics on what was brought to the interview but not how it was organized. I'm preparing all the evidence ahead of time but can't decide which way to go. I would like to learn how did you bring all your evidence to the interview. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

I've been wondering about chat logs too.

I have chat logs of conversations with my hubby going back to august 2005 (i did have more on my old computer but that died and I lost them). I have 40 log files, and each file would be about 40-50 pages printed ... that's 1400 -2000 pages  There's no way I could print out all of that ... I don't suppose they would accept it on a disk?

Not sure for photos either

I'll probably organise everything in a clear file ... maybe 2 ...

I'm not much help am I?

No need to print all those chat logs, just print 5 pages each of the first month, middlest, and the current chat logs. The consul wont give time to read too many pages.

About the photos, just present 2-3 pictures for each visit, you may put it in a bond paper and add some caption like date, place etc.

hope i helped, you may also look for the site i had given above.

I used clear pages that hold 2 4"x6" photos on each side, then put the 7 pages (28 pictures) in a very flexible binder that will easily slip under the window at the embassy. For chat logs, you have to have archiving messages turned on, then I just right clicked on my wifes name, selected archived messages then you can scroll through the dates. I printed the first page for one day each month. Then I used a 2 hole punch at the top and one of the metal fasteners.

We put eveything in a 3-ring binder. When they called us to the window and asked for info, we just took the needed info out of the binder. Do not bother bringing a computer disc. Becasue of virus issues, an embasy will not use it.

Just bring some examples of each covering the time you have been in communications. 2 or 3 chat logs , 2 or 3 pix from each visit (write on the back of pix, date, and place) phone bills, etc.. Our binder was a total of 80 pages. That included all the forms.

1) In a flexible album that can fit under the glass partition separating the counselor officer and interviewee.

2) One album with 40 or so pictures together and with friends and family.

3) Loose pages bound together at the top with an ACCO fastener.

4) Yahoo allows printing 1 page from each day of chat, also printed out the log, they do not need to see every thing talked about, only that regular communication happens proving relationship.

Anytime I deal with photos, I color copy them either at work or at the UPS store, 2-4 to a page.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
