Good luck to Yassmine today who has both a big work test and InfoPass. Hopefully those hormones will get through to them sense common sense isn't. :o

I think the hubster channeled the hormones for me. He was really pizzed off (not that I can blame him), but the officer we spoke with was this close to booting us because DH kept interrupting him. *Sigh* bless his heart, I wish I could fix this mess somehow or do something to encourage him. But Im so discouraged myself. We got pretty much the same answer as last time "Case forwarded to supervisor, allow 2-3 weeks for a response". Still no response from the last time it was sent to a supervisor or when it was escalated under hardship criteria. The officer did, however, tell us not to bother calling USCIS anymore, since they dont know jack and our case is in the Dallas office.

I think I did okay on the test at work for the new position, but Im not going to obsess too much over it, because Im pretty sure they've already picked their favorites for the job. I doubt they're going to let me transfer when Im just over 2 months away from maternity leave. Oh well, I did my best and Im satisfied that I at least tried.

I hope you get good news soon. You are one of the sweetest and helpful people and they are giving you heck!

Finished my donuts. I think if I make them again I"m cutting back on the bourbon. at first I thought maybe i had misread the recipe 2T for 2t but no it's supposed to be 2 Tablespoons. Wow that's potent. :help: Won't be giving it to any guests who have to drive home afterwards. The Northwest blackberrry donuts were better anyways. Wonder what's on the food channel tonight??

Wonder what's on the food channel tonight??

Since I have been home on maternity leave I have been watching hours and hours of food network a day and its been grand. HOWEVER, today Paula Dean made some horrendous casserole that consisted of white bread, ham, bacon, cheese, and a layer of CHOPPED BANANAS soaked in a egg and cream custard and then baked. i was pretty down with it until the banana layer and then she lost me completely.
