Well my husband and I are going to call it quits. We were married in Sept of this year. We have just started the process of Green Card. He has not been approved yet. We had to get a sponsor and now I am wondering if he can stay in the states or does he have to go back to his country. I want out because of his drinking and mental abuse. I just can't take it. Can anyone tell me what will happen to him . If he could stay in the states thats ok with me. I just don't want to be with him anymore. I am so unhappy it's not funny.

PLLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE help me on this.... :crying:

If he entered as a K-1, no he will not be able to remain and adjust status in any other way. He could return to adjust under some other basis, but that would require he leave the country.
