My wife received packet 3 from the embassy on Feb 15, 2006. She sent the paperwork back to the embassy. She has completed her medical. She made an interview appointment online and the interview is on May 15, 2006. I sent her the I-134 affidavit of support. Some questions are as follows:

Is the I-129F an immigrant or non-immigrant visa?

Should I have sent her the I-864 affidavit of support?

The approval for the petition was up on May 9, 2006. I sent the request for extension and I have received no response. Should I be worried?

How much should I send her for the visa?

I-129F is non-immigrant. Only the CR-1/IR-1 is an immigrant visa. With the I-129F she will either have to adjust status in the US once she arrives, or return to her country for the CR-1/IR-1 interview once her I-130 is approved.

The I-864 is for when she will adjust her status here in the U.S. after marriage, so you don't need to send that to her.

The fee is $100 for the K1 visa and as for the May 9th deadline, I'm not sure on that one.

Good Luck :)
