Hi there guys

Got up Monday morning to some great news that both the EAD and AP were approved on the 23rd Friday last.

Still haven't got the the paperwork in hand, just wanted to know that if worse case something happened and it doesn't show can they just issue us it at an infopass apointment since it has been approved?

Also is there an initial date the AP is valid from when we filed we put a proposed travel date on the 23rd Dec but my wife is thinking bout going home early. We don't want to book flights til we know that the AP will allow her to travel early and also that if it doesn't arrive in the post that we can go and get it.

Thanks in advance guys....

You'll have to give it 30 days before you can go to Infopass to see why they haven't shown up. It usually takes a week or two, so don't get discouraged.

I don't think the AP is tied to any specific date. I think they ask that question more in terms of when they should get the paperwork done rather than having a specific date on the AP document and you can only travel on that date. Someone else might know better, though.
