I filled out DS-230 and saved as PDF and sent to my wife, though I would recommend having her mail it back to you as well as Fax it, in case NVC wants the original form.

2, maiden name.

3, have wife write this in using native characters.

21a any children immigrating with her, if NONE then put NONE, if you plan on traveling with her, you are NOT IMMIGRATING so again the answer is NONE

21b same as above any children immigrating an a later date? If none then write "NONE"

Can I fill out the form for my wife then fax it over to vietnam and have her sign it? Afterwards she can send it back to me so i can send it to NVC.

One more thing, could someone explain to me how to fill out questions 2, 3, 21a, and 21b?

Thank you in advance!!!

You can fax it to her, yes. She should sign, write her name in native alphabet where it is asked and postal mail it back to you. Don't submit the fax copy of DS 230 to NVC, if your wife fax you the DS 230 back with her signature, as NVC only accepts original signature.

I gave the link of where to find the form to my husband and we filled it out together over the phone. Then he printed it, signed Part I and sent me both pages so I could send them to the NVC. It was the easiest way for us.

"NONE" all caps, recommended to not leave lines blank. NONE tells them there is no data, a blank line makes them question if line was missed and there should be something there.

"NONE" all caps, recommended to not leave lines blank. NONE tells them there is no data, a blank line makes them question if line was missed and there should be something there.

If the OP does not have a middle name, why should he/she write "NONE?" He/she should leave it blank. Many people do not have a middle name and USCIS is aware of it. If the OP is very concerned, he/she can put an arrow mark and write "Does not have any middle name."

I am in the process of having my wife filling out this DS-230 form and sending to me.

Do you know any other documents NVC would need from my wife.

I am just trying to save some times because the postal service between Vietnam and the U.S. is horrible, especially Vietnam.
