Hi people :)

So Nick and I are filing on Monday!

I have a question about my middle name. I have two. My mom kept her maiden name and wanted me to have her name too so she gave me a regular middle name and then her last name as a second middle name.

Laura / Middle name / Second middle name / Last name

On my birth certificate it has my full name. On my passport and on most other things I simply go by:

Laura / Middle name / Last name.

Should we put both my middle names on the petition or just the one. Also, it doesn't fit if I put both so I just add an additional page if I am going to put the whole thing?

Thanks guys

~Laura

My initial thought is that you'll want to use both middle names. Where it asks if you've gone by any other names, put your name with only the first middle name. And because you'll be using an attachment, you should explain the discrepancy. But see what others say, I could be totally off base.

And can I just say...IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU FILED!! :)

Thanks Mox, You are awesome!!! We are excited.

So I'll put both middle names.

Since I was divorced and I went by my ex's name so I'll make an attached sheet with both names.

The one with just my first middle name and my married name.

I'll explain why, sign and date it. On the actual petition we just put "See attached" ?

Sound good?

Put what is considered your legal name. Put the other version in the other names used box.

Thanks D+G! (F)

Since I have two previous used names, I don't think that will fit so I'll have to do an extra page.

Also, my two middle names won't fit in the "Middle name" part of the I-129F form so I'll have to do a separate page for that too! lol
