First off I want to thank the people who helped me out over here. I want to answer that guy over there who was "bothering" about my husband's income of 2003. Have you ever been to Iraq?????? Sitting your bottom on the couch watching tv and live it is a total different thing, which you don't even know. Have you ever been in the Military????? If you actually answer YES I HAVE...well I am MISS AMERICA at this point. No sorry MISS UNIVERSE. I didn't ask anything about my husband's 2003 income WHICH if you can actually count a little not very much just up to 10, you would know its 3 years ago....I asked about my, sorry OUR CO SPONSOR HELLO!!!! Wake up over there!!!!!!! In this case I have to say : who r you? An immigration officer or a taxes attorney? Wake up dear the war is over

Wow sweetie. You need to relax. Remember, we've all been through this. You're yelling at the wrong people. They're here to help. You'll catch more flies with hunny than with vinegar!

I was under the impression that our soldiers get paid even while deployed (one would hope, *especially* while deployed). Please tell me they paid your husband when he was in Iraq -- I thought they held all your pay and when you get back stateside, you get it all in a lump sum?

all military get paid every 2 weeks, 1st of month and 15th of month, no matter where you are at in the world. and direct deposit is a requiment in the military.

no lump sum

Hey Maria --

Sorry my post upset you. I was not being sarcastic or trying to aggravate you. Rather, I was dismayed and very upset to think that our soldiers were not getting paid. That is the very, very least we (as a nation) can do. If we have to send young men and women into harm's way, the very least we can do is pay them. I meant to express sympathy and I'm sorry if it didn't come out that way.

BTW, I am a woman, not a guy.

I know you didn't ask about your husband's income but it was something you mentioned. I was hoping that he did have income in 2003 and any other years he spent in the military, that you could then use for the affidavit of support. Income guidelines for active duty personnel are lower than for civilians, and I guess I was going for the angle that maybe you wouldn't need a joint sponsor at all. Why burden his uncle if you don't have to, KWIM?

Anyhow just wanted to apologize for upsetting you, and wanted to explain why I asked what I asked.

"When all else fails, read the instructions."

Maria,

I replied to your post the other day about the medical 'possibly' not being in the envelope from Naples and just like some one else here I advised you to 'take a deep breath'.

The very first reply you got here was accurate, as long as his earnings are above 16,500 you will not have a problem on income. That is the figure they are looking for and anything above is fine.

Can I also say that this is THE most helpful site you will ever find on immigration issues & 99.9% of the members are genuinely helpful. But with all due respect to you - if you continue with your aggressive, panic stricken and sometimes downright rude attitude, you are going to stretch alot of members patience!

I suggest you try a more civil approach and you will be welcomed and helped by all.

Sarah

PS. Oh and by the way please don't title all your posts URGENT in caps, it will end up being like the girl who cried wolf

Oh dear Maria, you are one very rude young lady, do take a minute to think about what you have asked, you have not got the full grasp of the English language so of course other people are going to read your posts and think have I read that right? Now that I have your attention, does your husband work now? Is he still in the Army?? I ask this because your post is rather jumbled. Also you are going about all this the wrong way if you want a clear and precise answer, but some posters have given you the correct advise which you have chosen to ignore like a naughty little girl, my suggestion to you is to grow up and apologise to those people who did try to help you.....Enough said.

Young and frustrated is not a good excuse, Kezzie! Judging on the "84" at the end of her user name and in her AIM screen name Maria's only a year younger than me, and the same age as I was when I went through the process :P

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.

I agree. Also, I went through OP's previous posts and she's always been very polite and such, so this attitude thing is a recent development.

I was just looking for an excuse for her behavior.... but yeh your right being young is no excuse for being rude to people who are only trying to help.....

Lets just hope that she finds a way to control her attitude or she will become a very sad and lonely person...
