Can anybody recommend a good flat for rent in Kiev near the embassy that is convenient for the medical exam and the interview site for my fiancé and her two children? Also any other info and experience would be appreciated. Thank you.

08/01/05 Introduced via email by Russian friend from military past

05/12/07 Visited Odessa, Ukraine. Wonderful place. I'm in LOVE..=)

06/13/07 Sent 129F package

06/15/07 Package receipt date

06/27/07 California Processing Center acknowledges receipt.

11/05/07 Receive I-797 (Notice of action) that package has been sent to National Visa Center (NVC) New Hampshire Nov 1, 2007.

11/21/07 Receive Letter from NVC of arrival of package 11/19/07 and given new KEV number. Letter stated that the package should be forwarded in a week.

11/26/07 Called Kiev call center. They will not make appointment even with KEV number. They must recieve hard copy first. Told to call back next Monday.

12/04/07 Set appointment for interview 20 Dec 2007!!!......=D

12/20/07 APPROVED!!! =D...Again as others have attested...the interview is the easiest part. Took most of the day for her but hey, Im on my way to Odessa to bring back my new wife and wonderful stepchildren...=).

01/19/08 Fly to Odessa to meet with family and prepare to bring my Svet and family to America.

01/25/08 Return to Denver with my Svet and children

02/01/08 MARRIED MY LIGHT..=D We are now MAN and WIFE...=)....hmmmm now what...?

I found some great prices for an apartment in Kiev on this site. I am going one week from tomorrow for a week long visit with Alla.
